EVERPADDLE STANDS AND STANZAS

This is the first poem made with all the letters of Everpaddle used sequentially as the first letter in the first word of the line.

Even fire dances on water, a brilliant
votive shimmering gold particles that
explore the smallest crevices, the textured
ridges of a wave's surface, its glow
playing on every molecule of the sea.
And so you cross the ocean, carrying
dreams and vision, a sun undetermined by the
dictates of orbits and patterns, gifting
light to the forgotten and unexpecting,
ever forward, ever on.
